Nothing goes out that we would not act on ourselves.<\/p>\n<h2>Sourcing<\/h2>\n<p>We prefer primary sources \u2014 manufacturer documentation, official guidance, published research \u2014 over other blogs. When we cite a figure, we link to where it came from.<\/p>\n<h2>Testing and first-hand experience<\/h2>\n<p>Where we have used something ourselves, we say so and describe the conditions. Where we have not, we say that plainly rather than implying otherwise.<\/p>\n<h2>Updates<\/h2>\n<p>Articles are reviewed periodically. The published and updated dates on each post are real, and we do not refresh a date without changing the substance.<\/p>\n<h2>Corrections<\/h2>\n<p>If we get something wrong we fix it and note the correction at the foot of the article. Spot a mistake? Please tell us via the contact page.<\/p>\n<h2>Independence<\/h2>\n<p>Advertisers and affiliate partners never see articles before publication and never influence our conclusions.
